Amalgamation Day set for November 11

On 1 October 2019 the Fair Work Commission determined that the amalgamation day between the National Union of Workers and United Voice forming the United Workers Union would be Monday 11 November 2019.

Tens of thousands of United Voice and National Union of Workers have voted yes to building a new union, the United Workers Union.

By now, most members should have received their voting packs in the mail.

The Australian Electoral Commission is posting them out of Melbourne today, so members will start receiving them over the next week.
